NXT:FWD is the leading mobile data monetization solution with the mission to let people in developing economies to Simply Connect. We partnered with the NXT:FWD team to design their omniplatform white-label app from the ground up, envisioning a system that adapts to branding of any telco provider and the ever-changing needs of a startup.
Our goal was to create a solution that could seamlessly integrate with multiple telecom operators worldwide, allowing for easy deployment and customization. The core design challenge was ensuring the app could be adapted to meet the diverse needs of different customers while maintaining a seamless and intuitive user experience. Achieving this level of flexibility required meticulous UI structuring, allowing elements to be adjusted or trimmed without disrupting usability.
To ensure scalability and efficiency across various use cases, we designed and implemented a modular component-based design system that can adapt to any operator’s branding. This approach empowers NXT:FWD to maintain an agile way of working, and to rapidly roll out tailored versions of the app for different markets while maintaining a consistent user experience. The system includes a wide array of components—from buttons to custom animated illustrations.
With as little as 1 or 2 brand colors and a logo, the system can automatically update the app, transforming it into a custom-made solution tailored to the specific brand. This streamlined, adaptive process optimizes the creation of prototypes and mockups needed for sales, reducing the time and effort required while delivering highly personalized experiences for each client. Our work extended beyond the app itself—we also developed customizable static and dynamic marketing materials bound to the same system.
By balancing adaptability with a cohesive user experience, we delivered a product that provides both operational efficiency and a seamless experience for end users. This comprehensive white-label framework solution enables NXT:FWD to offer a truly global product with minimal friction for new market entries.
